Back to School Edition

On April 9th and 10th, 2024, IIT Roorkee welcomed the 7th Heritage Network General Assembly with the participation of Heritage Network member universities from Europe and India.

On June 1st and 2nd, Universidad Politécnica de Madrid welcomed the 6th Heritage General Assembly on Boadilla Campus, in Madrid.

Professor Fouad Bennis and Marie-Pierre Pechoutre, International Master's Manager, will be representing Centrale Nantes to meet with other representatives of the Heritage Network at IIT Madras in India on 20-21 October 2022.

Join the third edition of the Heritage Network Webinar Series, hosted by Prof. Ercan Altinsoy from Technische Universität Dresden (Germany) and Prof. Somnath Chattopadhyaha and Dr. L.A. Kumaraswamidhas from Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines) Dhanbad (India).

On Monday 24 May 2021, the 4th Heritage Network General Assembly met online to welcome newcomers to the Network and elect a new President and Vice-President. Centrale Nantes is a member of Heritage: a network between India and Europe for Education and Research cooperation in engineering sciences.

Following the Heritage Network Steering and Executive Committee (SEC) decision to organize research talks to foster research cooperation within the network, we are pleased to announce the launch of the Heritage Network Series.

Last September 18th, 2020, the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India in cooperation with the European Commission (EC) announced their will to co-fund collaborative projects in the last Horizon 2020 Work programme on "Building a low-carbon, climate resilient future: research and innovation in support of the European Green Deal".

This week, members of the Heritage Network met in order to kick start new activities in what we can now call the "covid-19" era.

Despite the distance, the Heritage Network is always working on enhancing Indo-European cooperation and we have to say that online conferences help!

The consortium will meet online next Friday 26th June to share experiences and lessons learned from the current global situation.

In the spirit of promoting international cooperation in the fight against coronavirus, the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT) and Department of Science and Technology (DST) have launched together this call to fund joint research between India and Portugal.

The Heritage Network 4th General Assembly is for the moment postponed until further notice.

With the advent of fall in France, members of the International Relations Department will fly to India for the 3rd Steering and Executive Committee of the Heritage Network. Prof. Fouad Bennis, Director of the International Department and Director of the Heritage Network, will be accompanied by Prof. Frédéric Dorel, General Secretary of the Heritage Network, and Leslie Cubizolles, International Masters Manager.

Professor Fouad Bennis and Frédéric Dorel will be representing Centrale Nantes to meet with other representatives of the Heritage Network in Lisbon in May.
