About the Heritage Network

-    Centrale Nantes was granted the coordination of the first Erasmus Mundus Partnership project, WILLPower, 2009-2013, and then the HERITAGE project, 2012-2016.
The WILLPower and HERITAGE Erasmus Mundus project (2012-2016) enabled respectively 127 & 144 Indian undergraduate, graduate, PhD and Post-Doc students as well as staff to participate in an international experience at the European Heritage partner institutions for short/long mobilities.

-    The HERITAGE project was intended to be the starting point of a long and fruitful cooperation between the partners of the EU and INDIA. Within the project, the parties have developed activities that will lead to future, new or enhanced, exchange agreements and other joint study and research projects.

-    The HERITAGE project objective has integrated a sustainable action to transform the HERITAGE project consortium into a network after the grant agreement.

-    During the final meeting of the HERITAGE Project (at IIT Guwahati, India, May 2016), all the partners decided to create the HERITAGE NETWORK.

-    The first meeting of the HERITAGE NETWORK was held at Centrale Nantes (France) on 5th and 6th May 2017.
