The General Assembly is the decision-making body of the Heritage Network. It deals mainly with membership questions, statutes and the election of the presidency and follow-up committee. In parallel to the General Assembly is held a scientific workshop meeting, gathering researchers with expertise in fields of importance to both Europe and India. Held annually, the venue alternates between Europe and India. IIT Madras hosted the October 2022 GA. UPM hosted the 2023 GA edition in Madrid, Spain. IIT Roorkee hosted the April 2024 GA. TU Dresden hosted the May 2025 GA. Each institution member is expected to be represented by at least one person, both administrative and/or academic staff are welcome.
